Lady Tureiti Moxon

Lady Tureiti Moxon has a legal background and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors. She is currently the Managing Director of Te Kōhao Health a health, education, Whānau Ora and justice service provider in Hamilton providing services to the wider Waikato region.

She is also the Chair of the National Urban Māori Authority, a trustee of the Hauraki Primary Health Organisation and sits on the Puhara advisory panel to the Ombudsman.

Lady Tureiti also serves on the National Police Governance Group for Te Pae Oranga Iwi Community Panels. Lady Tureiti was part of the Ngāti Pāhauwera negotiating team who settled their historical treaty claims with the Crown in 2012 and she currently serves as a Trustee on the Ngāti Pāhauwera Development Trust and chairs of the Maanaki Grants Committee.  She was also an original claimant in the Waitangi Tribunal Wai 1315 and 2575 Hauora/Health Claim which was heard in 2019.

 

Lady Tureiti is a strong advocate for Mana Māori Motuhake and Tino Rangatiratanga.
